Leaf Red Brick Dust Amulet – small

$18.00

I craft these amulets by mixing red brick dust into polymer clay. The size or shape of the amulet doesn’t affect its protective powers, although you might choose to call upon its symbolism if it fits your situation. For example, this amulet contains a daisy. Daisy is used for divination, healing, joy, and blessings for newborns. Some find it to be quite earthy or grounding.

It is believed that red brick dust, which is frequently used in both European and Hoodoo folk magic, has African origins. The word “brick dust,” also called “redding” or just “brick dust,” comes from an old belief that the natural red ochre powder had magical powers. It is believed that if you want to keep out those who mean you harm, you lay down a line of red brick dust that they cannot cross.

Amulets are primarily used for protection and to prevent unwanted energies from reaching you, like harm, illness, jinxes, and hexes, and are carried with you to protect you magically. You can also hang in doorways or beside your front door when you are not wearing it.

Red brick dust, a common ingredient in both European and Hoodoo folk magic, is thought to have African origins. Brick dust, often known as redding or simply “brick dust,” gets its name from an antiquated notion that the natural red ochre powder possessed magical properties. It is thought that you should spread a red brick dust barrier that people cannot cross if you want to keep those who wish you harm outside.

Amulets are generally used for protection and to keep harmful energies like harm, illness, jinxes, and hexes from reaching you. They are carried around with you to provide you with magical protection. When not wearing it, you can hang it in doorways or next to your front door.
