Description
Here we call upon Guadalupe in this candle service –
The Candle Work Comes First
The divination found in a finished candle can sometimes offer insight into how the work burned, but the candle reading is not the most important part of this service.
The heart of the work is the candle itself: it has been blessed, dressed, prepared with your petition, prayed over, and burned in your name. That is where the spiritual work takes place.
The marks, soot, wax, and other signs left behind in the glass can be read afterward, but those signs don’t determine whether the candle work had value or whether your petition was heard. Your petition has already been worked through the candle from the time it was prepared until the flame finished burning.
Think of candle divination as an additional look at the work rather than the source of the work itself.
When Your Candle Is Finished
This $18 candle service does not include a written candle report or personal candle divination.
After your candle has finished burning, please allow at least 10 business days for your completion email to be sent.
Your email will include:
- A photo of your finished candle
- A link to my candle-reading guide, which explains some of the traditional signs used when reading the glass of a completed vigil candle
If you selected Double Strength, your completion email will include photos of both finished candles.
You can use the guide to look at the glass yourself and interpret any signs that may have appeared during the burn.
Please remember that candles are placed on the altar in the order they’re received. Depending on how many candle services are already burning, it may take a few days before your candle reaches the altar.
